Guest
Hiya.Speedo light and turn signal indicator light have never worked. Bulbs are ok, so I'm gonna try and check the connections, and then the wires themselves with a multimeter. In the Haynes wiring diagram(below), whassat big bar the wires are going through?? Is it shorthand for a length of the wire or is it some sort of interface/block connector?Any advice, much appreciatedhttp://aycu33.webshots.com/image/42112/2006379421937123211_rs.jpg
Voodoo
Looks like a block connector to me, notice how one of the wires changes from Black to Black and Blue

Guest
Found the connector block ok, inside the headlamp case. Nothing visually wrong, I'll have to buy a multimeter. Is a continuity check on a multimeter entirely passive to the bikes electrics?
