The Ghostbikes Motorcycle cover comes in four sizes and ranges (at the moment) from £16 to £22 plus delivery. It is also sold as Blacks Motorcycle cover on ebay.

It is the best fitting, easiest to get on and off bike cover I have found. It has vents, holes for the chain, a built in strap for underneath the bike and a heat proof section at the back. It is also totally waterproof. It may not last as long as more expensive ones (that I have not tested) but that is because it is so cheap. The fabric feels as thick as the other Oxford and R&G I have used, so it may well last as long as they did.

I'm hoping my other half clears enough room in the garage to fit my bike in before the weather gets too bad... but based on experience I may put an order in as the one I have isn't very waterproof (more light drizzle proof!)

The cover has split, but that is 18 months it has lasted, which is as much as I was getting out of more expensive covers. So, I have bought another, £18.99 delivered.

I've been using one since January, and so far am very pleased with it.

Heat-proof area has no problems going straight on a hot exhaust, although I did once misalign it and melt a little of the taped seam on my old bike. Also, the long bit of the strap is the wrong side for me needing to do it up from the right hand side. So, both user-related issues on my part!

Bike seems very happy underneath it, in all weathers, and the large one fits over a Tiger and top box quite happily (albeit not down to the ground).

I think not going all the way to the ground helps with ventilation. I am sure corrosion issues ended because moisture is no longer trapped inside the cover. It fits a Versys 1000, just. I have to lower the screen to get the strap to clip under the bike.
