Just saying. If anybody noticed, I've been largely invisible over the past 6 months. In short, I've gone through a marriage breakup which involved selling the family home and my beloved Fireblade to pay the mortgage while the house was being sold.

Anyway, next week I move into a flat and will have some money to spend on a new bike, so watch this space. Plenty of touring is on the cards for 2016, I need it after what I've been through.

Hi Rob sorry to hear you've been through it. And that you had to sell your bike :(

But Yay for bike shopping! Have you considered a Ninja....?

Hi Rob sorry to hear of that

I was actually wondering where you had disappeared to the other week!

On wards and upwards :thumb:

An all too familiar story these days mate........but I hope it's sorted for you now.

Been said, but in a busier more hectic world this is too common! But glad you've climbed out of the troubles and are on route to get a new bike :thumb:

Seems like an eternity ago that does, but still the best week away I've had on a bike.

Only 5 years..which is really quite amazing, So this time round, assuming it goes ahead will be the 5th.. and 4th to the Eifel.

Though I have to admit being just a tad peeved that the Schloss has had the nerve to increase their prices by 1 euro. But, assuming theres no fuel shock.. the price of petrol down the road is currently 77p a litre - which is rather jolly and kinda makes up for the extraordinary price rise. 8-)

77p a litre.. let that sink in for a moment. and a smidge under 93p in der fatherland. (today)

You've been much missed Rob! Especially on the recent Euro jaunts.

Good to hear you've turned the corner and are heading in the right direction. Been there and done that, didn't like it much!

As our tall, BMW riding friend from Notts says, if it happens get yourself heading to Ashford in September.

Shout if you ever want a chat.

My ex finally moves out of the house I'm paying half of the mortgage on today.

......... We separated 5 years ago!!

The mortgage on top of my maintenance was nearly 50% of my net income.

Hard work but plenty in same boat. Now I only have to give a 3rd of my net income which is of course a dream come true ... Hmmmmm.

I find bikes and alcohol a good pick me up. Maybe not at the same time though! Ha

Good luck pal.
