Problems w/ rusting and scratched paintwork !!

I have a Peugeot Jet Force 125 (124 cc).

The problems i am having are rusting in various places due to being left exposed to the elements, is there anything i can use to prevent further rusting, or is it not even an immidiet problem?

Secondly, a more cosmetic problem is scratched paintwork, does anybody know how much that would cost to get fixed?

I have pictures which i will add at a later date.

Any advice / comments are much appreciated.

Scotoiler FS 365 Protector. Use after every ride hose off the road salt and Spray all over

as for paint repairs if you run your finger nail over the scratch if you can feel the indentation then it will need repairing if not a good rub with G3 should bring it out

if your feeling brave you could flat off the scratch with some 800 grit wet and dry then buy some paint and use a toothpick to build up the layers letting each layer dry

then once its all dry some flat it off again with some 2000 grit then use the G3 to buff up

if your not suer about tackling it yourself take it to a bodyshop

hi gary are you ne good with fairing repairs or know some1, reason i ask is my batt was flat so took my rear faring off and the bloody thing cracked near the clip plug!!!! gutted

Never done plastic repairs myself but i have had good results with a fibre glass kit on a fish pond

post up some pictures of the damage someone might be able to help
