Thanks for all the advice - I spoke to Mr Honda today and he now thinks I have "a problem" - what price can you put on expertise?

When full it holds 61/2 gallons.

It still runs rough and it's possible that a coincidental and simultaneous problem occurred when I ran it dry.

Here's hoping that whatever it is will be cheap enough to rectify.

id reccomend 'redex' if its fuel injected. its about £4 a bottle down at halfords i think!

And also try giving it a good thrashing in about 3rd gear, should help to remove any carbon deposits caused by it not running correctly.

hope you get it sorted mate :]

what was the damage Para ??

A shade under £130

I can only assume that the highly skilled artisan that last serviced my bike must have broken the plug cap.

So this guy has put the wrong spec tyre on it, neglected to replace the fairing bolts and actually damaged it too.

Hands up all those who think they'll ever get my custom again.
