I was in my local bike dealership trying on boots and couldn't get any that zipped up apart from a pair of expensive gore tex sidi boots, any ideas on what to try?

I ended up with the alpine stars smx boots, fit great and really comfortable.

I've had mine for ages and they would look new if I hadn't slid down the road ;)

If you shop around online you'll be able to find them cheaper. Nothing but good feedback for these though, comfy from the get go and plenty of movement. If you like inside boots then get these, or if you want outer boots then check out some of the other Dainese range
