Adamjf82 Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 I've got a lexmoto xtrs 125 (please don't judge) bike is a 2015 model and is upto date with servicing. Only had it couple of weeks and only problem I've found with it is its hard to get into neutral and also neutral light is on regardless of what gear it's in.Any ideas? Quote
Guest Posted March 19, 2017 Posted March 19, 2017 Some bits have a nack to finding neutral so it might just be needing practice. Is it just slipping past it or is it really stiff? Some bikes are easier to get into neutral from second rather than first. Regarding the neutral light check the switch and give it a clean. It's usually located under the front sprocket cover and will have a wire leading from it. These easily get gunked up and a quick clean with electrical contact cleaner normally sorts them out. If that doesn't work then the switch could be faulty (they are cheap to replace) or the wiring could be dodgy which is again normally an easy fix. Quote
Adamjf82 Posted March 19, 2017 Author Posted March 19, 2017 Strangely enough I tightened the chain earlier and gave it a clean and lubed it up and that seems to have fixed both issues, did find a puncture in rear tyre as well.Thank you for the reply, looks like you were right, it seems to have just been clogged up with crap Quote
