Kinky fuel pipe ZX6R

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I split my fuel pipe yesterday so I replaced it with some pipe from a bike shop although it was thinner the guy assured me it would be ok.

Today on a ride my bike stopped like it had run out of fuel, on closer inspection the pipe had kinked twice quite bad and the fuel wasn’t getting through.

I’ve replaced it was a thicker pipe just although is still a kink in the pipe.

I can’t see how I can get around this especially due to the angle of the to ends the pipe connects.

How do I fix this or will it be ok with a small kink?

Thanks

I thought asking a motorbike mechanic would see me right but guess not. I’ve order one off eBay hopefully it does the trick cheers

Have you routed it correctly ?

Some fuel pipes have an external wire spring like sheath that prevents kinks or its internally built .

Like mine , you haven't left the spring type bit off have you ?

I'd avoid this new fangled transparent green fuel pipe , it goes rock hard after a few weeks , I don't like it . Like Six says , probably best to buy the correct part , its probably pre shaped rather than just a length of tubing.
