asharin Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 For reasons that I'll put in a post in general chat sometime, I had a need for a more practical bike due to not having a car licence, and being a single dad. Need to fit more shopping etc!So I traded in the ER6N, and now have a 2008 Honda Deauville 700. Only one pic for now, I'll take more later Has the extra large pannier covers for more space and top box arriving soon. I feel so old. However, it isn't too bad to ride so can't complain really, though it's my first fully faired bike and soooo not used to the instruments and lights not turning with the bars!!! Quote
Slowlycatchymonkey Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 My pops had a Dulllville for a while. He complained about it all the time and yet it was the bike he held onto for the longest! It was practical on the motorway commuting. He still occasionally waxes lyrical about how it could be “hammering down with rain and not a drop would touch you” so it left it’s mark! Quote
asharin Posted October 3, 2018 Author Posted October 3, 2018 More pics, went out for a short ride to Aberdare with my eldest as he was visiting. Luckily my spare helmet and jacket and gloves fit him!Ladies, if you find my son attractive, he's 20 and single Quote
