Blue light riders

Those of you who have done the residential blue light advanced rider training may or may not be aware of this but just thought I'd give you a heads up. When you go for insurance they ask if you've done any advanced rider training, if you say yes, blue light rider trained they they don't have a clue and therefore most won't give you the discount. If you produce your blue light rider certificate to the IAM Roadsmart you can get the qualification automatically, they will RPL your training, insurance companies recognise this qualification and some, including the one I use, will give a discount :thumb:
