Carter101
Hi guys. Got a question would to much pressure in the crankcase cause a bike to not start?
Bender
If it's caused by very poor compression, if you have a very worn bore/rings, would have to be pretty bad though.Check plug, check compression.
Grumpy Old Git
That is why the older bikes had 'crankcase breathers'.Remove oil filler cap/bung and try turning over the engine (NB. disconnect the spark pug(s) otherwise, if it starts, it will spray oil everywhere!) fastbob
I understand that the CBR 125 also has a crankcase breather so unless its blocked you haven't got pressure in your crankcase.
Tango
Is this a hypothetical question.......or do you actually have a problem with the bike not starting?.......and what is leading you down this path? Maybe a bit more information would be useful. ......so that you'll hopefully get the appropriate answers to your question. ......
