oldgrump Posted June 22, 2019 Share Posted June 22, 2019 Hi [mention]BabyD[/mention] , been doing this since 2001, doing it again this year, sadly missed last year due to illness.Basically 2 week's prior to the event you will receive all your paperwork, which consists of the matrix..You then have to work out the route you want to do, for whatever award you want.Weather you want to ride all night or just a short one.We use to do the special gold award which is 540 miles and max number of control's.Now we do a short one 10 hrs and max 280 miles. No night riding.There are loads of award's to suit whatever you want to do. Here is a couple control cards, you have them stamped by the control when you pass through them. One's for the 10 hrs and other is Special gold...Hope this helps.Ps years ago this event had around 2000 rider's every year, sadly it's declined a bit now.There is also a Welsh Rally, and Scottish rally.
