Wondering if any of you lovely ladies n gents could help me out! I’ve had the Cbr650r (2019) a few months now and looking to change a few things, namely the slip on! I’ve had a good look on the ol’ Google and can only find full systems, which i don’t mind doing eventually but for the mean time I don’t want the agg of remapping etc. Anyone know of any?

I maybe wrong but the new 650R hasn’t changed much in terms of styling. It also sounds like the same problem I had with my 650F, a “slip-on” doesn’t exist for the kind of exhaust system is has. It’s a full system change or stick with the standard stock one.

As for remapping etc.. I didn’t bother. The bike has been fine ever since. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong to remap, I’m just telling you my experience.

Yeah they do look fairly similar, but that has become pretty apparent about the finding a slip on! It’s a bit of a pain haha.

Yeah I wasn’t too sure if re mapping is a must or something that’s advised either so I’m on the fence about a full system, which typically there are plenty about!

Some bikes will run fine without remapping others will run like a total dog! In my experience, if not remapped, bikes seem to have a tendency to run a little on the lean side, but that's my personal experience, this comes from the remapping of my old GSXR and a 900RR blade. I think the style of exhaust on your bike may be the problem with finding a slip on, I know Akrapovic make a full system, have you tried dropping them an email and picking their brains? Production team there is usually pretty on the ball.
