Not really, as it stands you have 2 options, A1 or DAS ( A/A2 depending on age), it's one test, allowing a progression on L's is 3 test's but done over a longer period of time, but also allowing a rider to gain gradual experience on larger machines if they want to. We know it won't happen anytime soon as the country is being run by morons, but never say never, it will only take someone with a spark of common sense in the department to utter these famous words " What if we did this ". Given that most A2 test bikes are 50 something HP slightly limited down, it seems crazy to have to redo both tests after 2 years - every signature helps. I still have hope that things can change!
