Anyone know how to delete a quote on a reply occasionally I go to quote some one, then either get side tracked or subject moves on and I cannot get rid of the quote.

I can do it on my laptop but not mobile...  Its probably finding the right combination of right position, and getting right button, but my misses says I fail at that to..  So I knackered.

Sometimes I can't get rid of them, you sometimes get a prompt to delete stored text.

You can delete all the text in the quote and post a blank one. I just post it now and then delete the post and start again but that's cheating.
