rennie
Older YBR's are pretty much the same too! My Son had 1 which we then sold to Tango. Sue had 1 which we then sold to our Brother in Law.
exportmanuk
Every year I meet riders who are looking for additional training. They have done a direct access course and got themselves a 600CC+ bike because they liked the idea and the look of it. Great but they a scared sh!tless by it. They cant ride it properly they have little control and are a danger to them selves and everyone around them. My advice would be take your CBT get a 125 for a while if you like it then consider the additional training and test for a bigger bike. If you dont like it then you have had the experience you can sell the bike without loosing much/any money and you have learned something. You may even end up being a better driver of 4 wheel vehicles. Much better than spending 1000s on a big bike and riding it 300 miles a year because it scares you. Fish
Depending on when you're doing your CBT, hopefully my MT-125 (2019 model on a 2020 plate) will be up for grabs. Fish
fastbob
Looking back on things , I went one better ( or worse ) than a 125 . The first thing I rode , other than a bicycle was a Raliegh Wisp which is a true Moped . It didn't belong to me but I rode it around for hours . Ok , there was no clutch or gears to distract me but it was still a good introduction to self propelled two wheel locomotion .
