Sam Cove
My Grandad has given me a vintage Shark helmet that he won a number of years ago and never wore to sell on his behalf. He reckons it was worth around the £300 mark when new. It's a Shark RSR helmet in silver with blue details (can provide pics) in mint condition. It also has a British motorcycle sport ACU approved sticker on the back. Says its made out of a 'multi-axial fibre structure', one of which is carbon. It also says it's design was by 'Spigaw'. No idea how much its worth but it feels pretty expensive, if anyone with a bit more knowledge of this stuff can tell me how much its worth, or is interested in buying it, that'd be much appreciated. Cheers.
onesea
A 20 year old helmet, IMHO old enough to be worthless not old enough to have any vintage value. https://ridermagazine.com/2004/01/29/shark-rsr-motorcycle-helmet-review/ https://www.webbikeworld.com/shark-rsr-helmet-review/

Mr Fro
I gave my old lid (must have been knocking 20 years old) to my uni for them to chop in half and smash the shit out of. All in the name of science.
Pie man
probably worth more in sentimental terms than monetary value. I don't know many folk who would buy a second hand brain bucket. Edited May 24, 2021 by Pie man
