Aprilia RS 125 help for a n00b

Hi, i need to disconnect the petrol leads from the petrol tank. I'm not clear what i need to do after reading the manual. I was gonna pull both rubber tubes out? worried about petrol draining from tank.

Any help appreciated.

Clamp the petrol pipe coming from the tank shut..

thanks for the help. Whilst waiting i downloaded a new manual and have now sorted it using the "fuel tap lever" not listed in my manual!
