Guest Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 Hi all,Really sorry if this has been asked before, i did a search but couldn`t find the answer i was looking for....Just bought my first bike(cbr600) and it all seem s ok apart from the rear tyre has only the minimun tread on it so i would like to replace it soon as. Both the front and rear are Michelin sport. Would it be ok to replace the rear with another michelin sport? I intent to ride in all weather. Are these tyres ok for general use. I would rather not shell out for a new set if i can help it! Thanks for any help,John Quote
Guest Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 fine to replace rear onlycheck with the tyre guys on the Michelin as to all weather use but would imagine it is a dual compound so will be suited Quote
houdini Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 As far as I know its a fast road tyre, ideal for yer cbr. As for changing the basic principle is 2 to 1, 2 rears during 1 fronts life. Be fine to change just the rear if the fronts okay. Quote
