I stood up. Being used to standing in a Laser probably helped.

don’t worry new boat found for me, I had paid a deposit before viewing myself. My good lady viewed and said she liked her there is nothing we cannot do ourselves.  
leaving me to worry about getting my tools out and repacking my new mistresses stern gland.

It’s amazing how interchangeable boats are once you get the hang of them but must admit I have not been near a sailing dinghy in years…
