Guest Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Im in the process of selling my 50cc scooter, and unfortunately as of late, everytime i start it, its really slow, and engines cuts when i stop, only after 5 mins of riding does it get finally get going and doesn't switch offPlease say its something simple thgats wrong with it Quote
Bill_on_a_bike Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 Just dounds like it needs warming up properly. Wait for a scortching hot day see if it still struggles.Try running it for a minute or 2 with the choke out (i assume it has one) Quote
Guest Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Even on hot days it does it, but about 5 mins on the road its fine Quote
Bill_on_a_bike Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Then it may be the carbs idle jet needs a tweek to work better at low temperatures, aswell as high ones.I'm afraid i have no idea how to do this, well, i could do it, doing it right, so it works is another matter. Quote
