Hi all I’ve just had the most frightening experience on my new tracer9 gt only had it since September 2021 had its first service got near 3k on cloak I was travelling past calver towards bakewell Derbyshire today and the bike just lost throttle no power nothing I nearly got ploughed into by a stone wagon engine management light came on I free wheeled in to a track and switched of and on again throttle worked then but engine light still on but dames to be running fine so made my way to nearest safe place stopped put it on main stand switched off made call to dealer for them to come pick it up once I finished call and took off main stand and started it all was fine it didn’t miss a beat till I got back to a friends as it was to dangerous for me to travel back to my home if this would of happened to me on a smart motorway I’d be dead now I’m really worried now lost all confidence in this bike anyone else experienced this I know on the American forum there a few on there that have something to do with throttle bodies but wow so dangerous

No they not said anything about what fault was just that they have ordered throttle bodies and looking at 10 working days for them to arrive oh and can’t send loan bike as I must have a lockable brick garage for their insurance needs very unsatisfactory it’s left me with no transport

It's crap but you could see why they require a garage, it will be stipulation for insurance, they will have to cover whole country, so bike on street in Manchester or London would be gone before you had kettle on.
