onesea
I know hay fever season is in full swing. My misses is sniffling tears in her eyes and shouting at me. That's normality the only difference is at the moment, I have not done anything to deserve it. A friend was asking for advice all the regular stuff not working. Someone suggested a face mask. That didn't go down well, let's just say they had not worn one in the last 3 years.. Someone else suggested a injection. Apparently that's fine on this occasion, a friend online said so. Even though it's a large dose of steroids into a muscle. Edited June 10, 2022 by onesea
Fozzie
Is this a kenalog injection? I had to have this pumped into my nose after an op left a lot of scar tissue inside, which was mucking a lot up. Does she know that heightened symptoms of hay fever is one of the long covid symptoms. Has she had the virus? I had the worst hay fever of my life about 6 months after infection, was like my immune system was going haywire for hayfever. Extremely hot, burning eyes, over the top sniffles. Guessing she didn't have the jab, if she was that militant against the mask.
Mississippi Bullfrog
Try local honey, but it has to be local. Several people who suffer with hayfever take mine and tell me it makes a significant difference. The honey will contain the same local pollens (IE proteins) as are causing the reaction. I make no claim other than what people tell me after taking my honey.

There's a beekeeper in our village sells his at £12.50 for 454g. To be honest he's still not covering his costs, it's an expensive hobby. But I do it for the bees. If I can get something back to contribute to costs that's fine with me.
