Yep as said nothing you can really do you can fiddle with sprockets but the gains are minimal. I had a bullit 250 they are not badly put together just look after it. Ride it and enjoy it, it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow!

If your willing to throw money at it then it can be done. requires a good bit of machining and different pistons, and the gains are considerable, but as a learner you would be breaking the law if you rode it. The other issue would be the handling. 125 tyres are speed rated and not designed for the extra speed gained. I have experience of this, having done it myself to a Honda 125. So as others have said spend your money on getting your full licence and a bigger bike
