Bogging/ power loss

Hello fellow bikers,

From I fitted my aftermarket exhaust, I can't give it full revs.

The bike kinda sputters almost like an antistall. Also my revs idle are sitting at 3.

I'm thinking this is high. But any ideas to fix the issue would be most welcomed

Lexmoto 125 xtr 4stroke.

No other mods apart from full system stubby exhaust system.

There is a slight rattle, I'm scared to try tighten it more as it's pretty hard to get any more movement from the bolts that go-to engine

My old one snapped off while riding.

Ditched it and bought new one.

Could have had it welded but we live and learn.

So that idea is a no go I'm afraid. Thanks for posting though. Appreciated

I think I may take it for mot and find out what's wrong with it..

Could it be the new exhaust needs more air in the system compared to standard?

Like I may need an upgraded jet?

Totally new to motorbikes so no clue what's the best thing to do

Carbs or injection?

What brand of new exhaust?  Has it got wider bore?

Hello mate, thanks for your reply.

It's a lextec aftermarket full exhaust system.

The bore is a lot bigger than original exhaust. Is this where the problem for bogging out is coming from?

Hey there grumpy,

There is no exhaust gas buddy.

Iv been looks ng online and as the end is fatter, than the original I think I need a new jet for the carb. Or may need to adjust fuel/air screw?

I'm going to take some photos today and post em.

Hopefully you guys can let me know if it's fitted correctly.
