Evs7 Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 I know a lot of you as you hardcore Eurosport fans like me won't have seen this but over the break I switched over to BBC and in park ferme you caught a bit of a discussion with Stoner and Rossi.Rossi extends hand, Stoner shakes head and they go their seperate ways. Fantastic race though, two great riders going at it Quote
Guest Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 yea i saw that bit matey, he,s a miserable little w**k. Quote
Steve365 Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Seem to recall Stoner describing some of Rossi's moves as 'a bit friggin much' - great stuff on the BBC!Could have sworn blind beforehand that Stoner would be off down the road, but I was very wrong! Sat glued to the whole race and it was fantastic racing.Stoner doesn't like it up him! Quote
Fazer Pete Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Just watched tonight. Wow!! Rossi was awesome! As for Stoner, what a whinger. Just can't accept that he got done by one racings legends. There is alot he can learn from Rossi, especialy how to lose gracefully Quote
Guest akey Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 Cracking race, I was leaving for work at 4:30 this morning so should have gone to bed and sky+'d it, well i did sky+ it, but also had to stay up and watch that race Quote
jimsoon Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 just watched it again on eurosport, i fell asleep last night after stoner crashed! how good was until then! most exciting race i have ever seen. Quote
pumilio Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 Just watched this on *ahem* view on demand.WHAT A RACE! What a huge race for Rossi and Stoner - last year (my first year watching moto GP ever) I thought Rossi was a bit of a w**ker for blaming Stoner's skill on the tires... This year though I see he is a true god. Rossi and Stoner were like 22 secs. ahead of the unwashed masses == oh dear.To top it off, did anyone notice what the brolly girls on the podium were wearing... *engine revving sound* lol. Quote
Guest Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 WOW that had to be the best race this year, i was on the edge of my sofa the whole time.... Why does stoner have to ruin it and moan and bitch about everyone when it doesn't go his way, don't race if you don't like it.Roll on the next race should be another good one Quote
