Recommended Posts

If had a closer look at my wheel on my off road bike, and decided that its square.

i was hoping to just be able to get a rim and re-spoke it to the hub, using new spokes obviosly.

anyone know or tried spoking a wheel? what specialist tools would i need, and is there a guide on the internet somewhere that would give me a head start?

Cheers guys.

I did it on a bicycle years ago, and it didn't work out very well at all. I'd have been better off using square wheels.

You need at least one DTI remember to measure and record what the off set

is before removing the old spokes  if you dont your bike will never ride the same again
