Does anyone know of a bike rally in Portugal?

I was coming home from my holiday in Portugal about 2 weeks ago now and there was a massive traffic jam into the airport as a bike rally was on, and it was huge thousands of bikes literally went past up into the airport and then back down again, I wondered if anyone might know what it was?

its the moto club de faro rally, on every year. we went two years ago it was feking awesome.

ooo cool, majority of the bikes there were Spanish, did you go into Faro airport?

yea we flew into faro airport, the camp site is literaly accross the road.

spent the full week. it was awesome. thinking of going again next year.

it looks crazy, how many bikes was there i've never seen so many in my life before lol

not sure on exact no,s but we all hired harley,s and went on the run and believe me there was miles and miles of bikes. the police out there where ace. if any of the locals started doing inpromptu stunt shows in the middle of the road, they would just stop all the cars and let them get on with it. if anyone ever fancy,s a rally abroad this is the one. and the best bit MIXED SHOWERS. big open air showers with nakid yummy spanish and portugese totty. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I've been a few times, might be an idea to stay outside Faro and ride in. That way you can enjoy yourself and then have a good night sleep and refreshed for the next day, otherwise you wont sleep the whole time you're there! Plenty of events going on over the long weekend to keep you busy.
