Guest
Just had an off wearing a Caberg V2R thing. Very nice and I'm still alive Got a get a new one now though.... I was impressed with it and my previous Caberg but the only gripe I have was with rain getting in and running down the inside of the visor obscuring my vision. My wife wears a Caberg also. £100 for mine £150 for hers..
Guest
Shoei and Arai both have excellent reputations, but then I guess others will be just as good. If you're unsure though, you cant beat a brand new Shoei or Arai.

Guest
Nitro N820 4 star safety rating + I picked it up brand new from a shop for like £35/40.
Guest
Nitro N820 4 star safety rating + I picked it up brand new from a shop for like £35/40. Nitros are good - I have one at the moment, the most comfortable helmet I've had the last few years.
Guest
They definately seem to be the best value for money, not bad deigns either. A large reason I went for mine was because it was one of the only 4+ star safety rating helmets I saw for less than like £60/80.Very comfortable. Guest
ive got a 2 star safety rated ARAI....and I wouldnt buy any other make.they are the best for safety ...no matter what the new flawed tests show if youve got a ten bob head buy a ten bob helmet ....thats my theory. Korben
Moved to Clothing section for you mate!! Just make sure the helmet fits your head mate. Thats the most important thing. It needs to be a good tight fit all round your head.I have a Shoei, but I know that Arai, Shark, AGV, and shed load of others all do the same job. The reason I bought Shoei was because the helmet was the right shape for me noggin!!
Susieque
Love my Shoei helmet - chose it cos more comfy with wearing specs for driving/riding.But being a girlie, it was chosen for looks too!!!!!
rollazuki
Ive owned Shoei and AGV, but at present, own an Arai, and a Simpson. The fit on both is superb, but Ihave to say, by comparison to my last lid(AGV) the Arai is noisy and draughty. The Simpson is always draughty, but hey, it looks wicked!Rolla
harrycpr
arai and agv the most comfortable but not quite

jan_mlt
any of you have personalized graphics, cause i was wondering how to transfer them to the helmet
fortknoq
I was told that adding personalised graphics, stickers, etc... may compromise the integrity of the helmet - make it functionally less effective.
Guest
I was told that adding personalised graphics, stickers, etc... may compromise the integrity of the helmet - make it functionally less effective. I was told the same. But I can't imagine a single way that stickers are going to compromise the integrity of the helmet... at all...I think its just something they say in a way to urge you to like not do any DIY to your helmet, take care of it and leave it as it is.Honestly cant see a problem with stickers. Depends on the material or finish of the helmet. If painted then the structure of the lid is protected so placing things on isn't such a problem. If the lid is plastic (polycarbonate or similar) then the oils in the glue may effect the plastic making it brittle or soft thus removing it's integrity. If the instruction booklet that comes with the lid says do not put stickers on then don't. If they have stick on graphics from manufacturer then this glue will be inert and safe to use on that kind of plastic
