Speedo healer?

Recommended Posts

Right as per previous threads I have soldered my indicators and ordered a re-fil for my oiler 8-)

Now the previous owner also changed the front and rear sprockets (still unsure of teeth compared to standard) but think he said down on the front and up on the rear.

Anyway I have been thinking my speedo has been out as when doing 30 on the clocks cars sit on my bum and when coming back on the motorway the other day had to do 84 on the dash to stay level with the trucks!

So I am thinking about getting a speedo healer - But how easy are they to fit, and will it help?

std sprocket size for the CBR 600 f 2002 model is 16/45

I have gone +2 teeth on the rear on my gixer 750 and it is the best mod per £ per rwbhp increase!

A speedohealer will also take out any factory error (my gixer was 8% out as std!)

If you have gone -1 on the front and +1 on the rear that is the equivelant of +3.5 on the rear which will make a hell of a difference to your top speed and ability to shred your rear tyre and save a lot of wear on your front coz it'll be airborne all the time! LOL

They are very easy to set up and fit and calibrate. The Speedohealer website explaines it all in simple steps and has a nice converter that even lets you adjust for tyre wear too!
