Guest
Hi allNoticed today that the chinstrap on my helmet has become furry and doesn't look straight, as if it has been worn more on one side. It looks like its due to when the strap is pulled through the pair of D clips and tightened. Is this anything to be concerned about?Cheers,R. Korben
If you are asking on here mate then you are concerned about it.... I would get it checked out mate.Arai are great with stuff like this and should be able to get it sorted for you mate. Take it to your local dealer (Where you bought it from ideally) and see what they say.Better safe than sorry an all that.Oh, just gonna move your thread to the clothing section for you mate!! Guest
I think its more a case of its not that used yet but it looks it... at least as far as the strap is concerned. A quick search on the Arai site suggests that "fluffing of the strap is due to velcro damage" and that they will replace it for free on the first occasion. Is it possible to replace the chinstrap? It seems like a pretty integral part of the helmet to me!I'll be popping into the local shop where I bought it tomorrow... after my test Quote Link to comment https://themotorbikeforum.co.uk/topic/5635-arai-astro-r-chin-strap/#findComment-119148 Share on other sites
