red Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Cool A lot of country roads round that way, round Ashton, Polebrook.. not done it for a while though so I wouldn't want to lead lol. Quote
nman1 Posted October 20, 2008 Author Posted October 20, 2008 Red, I`m cautious on un-known roads. Some corners can be right beggers and tighten up on themselves. Quote
red Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Quite. As you say, we can decide for the best on the day Quote
Guest Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 well, i've found out that my rowing doesn't start until 1.30 on saturday, so might be up for a gentle ride, dependant on the amount of alcohol friday eve.re: nman - cautious on unknown roads? surely the bike safe tackled that - police riders always ride as if they dont know the roads at all be good to assess each other's cornering etc. if we have the chance, and show the non bike safe riders how its done! yorbandit Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 the matlock run goes off at 11 from fishponds me and lad will be l;eaving mine at 9.30 if ya want to come up with us, akey doing a ride up there from 11 Quote
nman1 Posted October 21, 2008 Author Posted October 21, 2008 You going up on the bike then Roy, thought you was going up in the car. Think I`ll just go local though mate, thanks anyway. True Dave, The bike safe course did help with un-familiar roads but caution is still a good thing to have. Try and get out for a couple of hours at least.COME ON YOU OTHER LOT. 10.30 at the services Quote
