jimsoon
I have had my RST rift textile for a few months now, I rode yesterday in the rain but got a really wet crotch. The problem is that where the jacket zips to the pants, it isn't all the way round, it has a gap of about 10cm at the front which lets the rain in SO today i got one of those wind/waterproof over jackets, its slightly longer than the other one so hopefully will cure the problem.has anyone else had this trouble? and cured it?cheersjames

bbobeckyj
I use overtrousers also, and now non waterproof leather trousers, the textiles were not doing their job so I got rid of 'em
nman1
My leathers have an elastic crotch - the only part that lets the water in!My solutuion = Rubber pants also useful if you`ve got the squits while on a long ride. I use leather with waterproof over trousers. Protection from abrasion and the wet. Done job.
