was tinkering with the bike seeing as i cant go out on it.. and think i cracked the lil plastic insert on my throtle handle. the grip was rubbing slightly on my bar end... with a lil gentle persuasion, i managed to get it to stop rubbing.. but my gentle persuasion may have been lil heavy handed.. and now.. my throtle has loads of free play.. (back and forth) any ideas on if i tighten my throttle, this will sort it or is it time for a new throttle handle??

with the grip rubbing you might not of noticed the free play as much

follow the cable and there will be an adjustment screw somewhere adjust untill you are happy with the free play i go for around 2 to 3 mm of play i like mine responsive :D

start the bike and go lock to lock with the bars to make sure the revs dont increase if they do then its too tight

hope that helps
