Anyone go to this ?

My neighbour has invited me to go with him next year (he goes every year), so just looking at it just now.

If anyone has been, whats it like, or what can I expect ?

And is anyone else is going next year ?

Not been, but really want to.

Your neighbour might be out of luck. The way it is nowadays you normally need to book at least 2 years in advance....

Heard good and bad things mate. Some people say they can't miss it, others say the love the roads but would never go during the TT.

My neighbour is already booked, and I can get booked no problem for when he is going as well, although different ferries.

He is going from Liverpool and I can get one from Heysham (which is closer).

He also has a campsite booking for a 10 man tent so there is space available for me.

Well if you haven't booked up for a ferry, now would be the time.

We got our ferry times changed, and from leaving from Liverpool changed to Heysham (closer).

Available for change due to cancellations or non payment by the agreed time.

We now get the 2.15pm on the 6th June from Heysham.

Well, I am jealous of anyone who has been riding longer than I have.

As for the knobs, I am taking my handgun with silencer.

That should sort them out

You heading over on the Saturday?

We're on the 4am boat on the Thursday from Heysham, leaving with the Sanquhar posse on Wednesday night :crybaby:

Got booked into a campsite at Union Mills - where are you guys going?

Posted

Not sure what campsite it is mate, as it's all booked through neighbours mate.

Me and my neighbour heading from up here, meeting other guys at the ferry.

The TT is such a buzz, went in 2003. We booked the ferry in the January and had no problem getting a place. We didn't book a camp site before we went and got a pitch no problem (I've got mates who do this every year!). The camp site we stayed at was the one behind the pits which is probably the best site there is location wise.
