kawasaki noise

hi, i bid on this kawasaki on ebay and it then had a video on there, but on the video on the listing the guy started the engine.

Does it sound ok to you?

I read somewhere that kwakkers have a unique idling noise and from the video the noise doesnt 'seem' to increase with the revs, but now im really in two minds about it.

Anyone in the know?

sounds ok, z/gpz 550 motors have a chain primary drive and sound a bit 'clunky' if the carb balance isnt spot on.

Id be more worried about the rear light

i worried abit about my kwaks idling sound...kinda like a mild diesel engine lol. but ye that does sound a bit heavy:S

yea got worried about mine for a bit but read about the kwak noise! thing is the vid quality is pretty poor as is the sound so you cant tell, it could be where the noise is bouncing back off a wall or something!

yup its a kind of tapping/ticking sound my last bike had it

bit late i know but kwaka's have a nasty alternator chain rattle and the idle is rubbish under 1500rpm but thats only really on the ninja's as far as i know???
