Hi guys

I have some HG touring textiles jacket and trousers that I wear for my daily commute. They're black but now filthy with salt (grey, shiny colour) and although I've tried to soak it up with water, when it dries the stuff returns... clearly the salt is still there.

Whats the best way to get rid, barring a machine wash? Any tips appreciated :)

I didn't think it could be machine washed, but having checked it again it says I can wash it at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle with no fabric conditioning or tumble drying/ironing.

Ok thats easy enough... but my machine doesn't go down to 30 degrees!

Do you think a delicate wash at 40 degrees would be ok?

Oh and its this one with matching pants: http://www.hein-gericke.co.uk/shop/prod ... ts_id/4598

Cheers,

PS

I know where Quinton is, but never had any reason to go there yet!

all my textiles are washed at 40c just remember to take out the Protective inserts ( shoulder/knees/elbows/back ) before washing them and get the two products so that you can rewaterproof them as well .... get some aqueous wax for Boots and some glove proof as well ( they do a complete motorcycle textile Pack containing allthese items as well as a Visorguard) repells water from visor easier) for aboit £25-£30 iirc
