Guest
I passed my test back in September and have bought a 1981 CX500B as my first big bike! How excited am I? Very. Now, you may have noticed yourselves that it is not all that warm out and I have to make a 15 minute 'commute' to Sixth Form and work. Occasionally I drive 40-odd miles to Milton Keynes. Now, I face a minor dilemma. Should I buy heated grips or a pair of draggin' jeans?I would get the heated grips because they are half as much and many times more useful to me as I already own a pair of textile over-trousers. However, the only doubt I have about the grips is putting them on myself. I am sure I would have no problem but I just wanted to ask if anyone else has had any experience with them: good, bad or ugly.

Guest
As TC says there easy to fit, only thing i would do is connect to the ignition that way you wont come back to a flat battery should you forget to turn them off, easy done

TC
The new ones cut themselves off if the curant gets below a certain voltage so there is enough left to start your bike
