I am going on the 6th June for the week with my neighbour.

Can't wait.

I am going from Liverpool but returning to Heysham.

Staying in a tent (a big one).

Not sure how much accomodation is, but you should still be able to get the ferries ok.

Although for when I wanted to go, I couldn't get it from Heysham.

But from what I heard they normally get a lot of cancellations in January so maybe as well checking with Steam Packet Ferry Co.

I would try the Steam Packet people - we booked up this month, although we are only going 4th to 7th June, due to time/holiday/children constraints.

Staying in GlenLough (sp?) as well and sailing from Heysham on the 4am boat on the Thur.

Will have to leave SW Scotland about 11 on Wed night :crybaby:

Well if you haven't booked up for a ferry, now would be the time.

We got our ferry times changed, and from leaving from Liverpool changed to Heysham (closer).

Available for change due to cancellations or non payment by the agreed time.

We now get the 2.15pm on the 6th June from Heysham.

it isnt impossible to get over at last min, even in 07 i didnt book till feb and they were waaaay more bussy than they will be this year. you wont find hotel but its more fun camping. head for sulby the first night cos its free and you can be there 12 nights no problem before they kick you off. once there you can look for a better spot.

glenwylen in Kirk Michael is a lovely camp site and close to the action, ability to get out the place even when roads are shut , beach at the bottom of the site and good facilities.

i am planning on going for the GP later on in the year if you want to join us.

I am only going for a few days this year . arrive early mor tue 9th .10th .11th .leave early hours fri . My mate mike carnt make it this year . ( credit crunch ext ) so im making the trip alone . Staying in the same homestay as allways ,just a few min walk from pit lane . There is loads of spaces on the boat and bookings are down on the island for B&Bs . so booking late should be easy enuff if your of a mind to grab a late deal . ..... . . But then if your a late 20s female with blonde hair and huge breasts and go by the name nimfo bikerchick . I have an empty pillion seat B&B and 2 tickets to the grandstand . HA HA .

Stayed at the Rugby Club at Quarterbridge, which was a great location.

Scene of many sore heads.
