For an HJC CS-R1 ??

Also, do you guys stick with < 50% darkness (i.e. legal) ... is that enough to replace sunglasses? The other day I went out, it was sunny, I have a clear visor, my glasses kept fogging!

Thanks

No but as your carrying a clear one they shouldnt care, and to be fair I haven't known of anyone getting stopped and there visors checked. 8-)

Thanks philgale - I missed that

Isn't it silly carrying a clear one? what does it prove? I don't get it. Couldn't you just flip visor up if police asked?

U guys go for mirrored or tint?

Thx

the point is you can explain you are prepared id the light changes by carrying a clear one....

if it gets you off a 30 note fine its worth it....

Just get yourself one of those helmets with a slide down shade. You just need to slide it down behind the clear visor when required and just slide the sunshades back up when driving in low light conditions

Ah - I see, makes sense thanks

Do you get points, or just a £30 fine?

Could get either a £30 fine for not conforming to regs, or £60 and 3 points for dangerous parts and accessories.

Carry a clear visor an you should be OK. As techno said ^

OKay then, the question now arises

Dark tint, mirorred, rainbow? etc

Am I more likely to be pulled with a mirror/rainbow?

Are mirrored/rainbow ones dark like sunglasses?

Are they harder to clean?

Thanks

to be honest i find my blue iridium clearer to look through than my dark tint visor....

what lid you got...my first one was a race rep with lots of blue on it hence the blue visor but my new one is mostly black hence dark tint....

U mean clearer as in not as dark?

I want it to replace sunglasses ... if that makes sense ... so dark is good

I have an HJC CS-R1 Samuri

its not as dark no, but id say filters more light out if that makes sense, the light isnt as sharp through my iridium but i can see much better.....

id go for dark tint on yours, rainbow would look out of place, a silver iridium could look quite good with the white too...

i got rose a silver iridium for her all black lid and that looks good...

So silver will be clearer (lighter), but still filter out the sun as well as a dark ... if that makes sense.

Don't quite get what you mean ... you'd go for dark or silver? You seemed to change your mind mid sentence

Thanks mate - appreciated

There are ones without inbuilt bluetooth. I was looking at some yesterday, but I bought a new lid recently anyway so I was not ging to invest in anothe lid so soon.
