I know there was one in New Forest, but don't know name. Also know there is one in Avebury

I'm just wondering where the kind of pubs we can ride to, and loads of other bikers do the same ... (by biker I mean a general biker, not just a hell's-angel kind ...)

I mean it more the other way ...

All hell's angels are bikers

Not all bikers are hell's angels

I want a pub that is for the latter, i.e. all bikers (including but not limited to) hell's angels

Not one that is for hell's angels only

I don't know what the correct term for a biker like a Hell's Angel is, but the pubs I want to visit should have all kinds of bikers.

Does that make sense?

Don't want to offend anyone, and there is no biker I wouldn't want to socialise with, I just don't want to go to a pub and find that everyone has Harleys and I'm the only one with a sports bike and look like a tit ... if that makes sense

Harley riders are just as friendly as anyone and as for sticking out like a tit ...

I know that, and I have absolutely no problem socialising with them - you're missing the point

Don't want to sound like an arse, but feel like you do know what I mean just being difficult. :(

The Red Shoot may be the one in the Forest you are thinking about???

I think that's the one

If you are thinking of Avebury, the pub is called the Red Lion and has a meet there every Wednesday evening during the summer. It also gets quite a few bikes in on a Sunday.

It is between Devizes & Swindon

Cheers

Hi Wiffers,

I know this was posted ages ago, and im sure you've managed to find plenty of bike friendly pubs by now, if not I would agree with the Red Shoot, in the forest. Hunters Lodge is good on a thurs eve. We live in Gillingham and organise a smallish family friendly event in Dorset, if you're interested have a look at website, we also have a ride out to the High Corner Inn, which is very close to the Red Shoot. http://www.familybikerbash.ukf.net

Another vote for the Red Shoot here mate, sometimes pop in for a lemonade on a sunday lunch time, sit outside under the trees and drift away. Or "The Fighting Cocks" of course just on the edge of the Forest from Fordingbridge side. (That is the real pubs name Mods!)
