Lonely Old Dave
They are going to run the Moto GP at Silverstone from 2010 for five years. I think they are making a very big mistake as the viewing is a load of crap. Donnington Park is much better for bikes. If they charge the sort of prices they do for the F1 then they will kill the Moto GP in this country.I would be interested in what people think of this mad plan. Susieque
Never been to either place, but for me Silverstone is for cars, Donnington for bikes! And thats from a Suvvern Bird!!
Revvin Kevin
Hate Silverstone, lacks character and they WILL put the prices up, bad move On the plus side it gives us an excuse for a trip to a foreign MOTOGP round
yorbandit
Well i like it cos it less than an hour from me hahahahahahahahahaahahanot that i gonna pay them prices to watch
Guest nastro azzurro
Without a doubt the price will rise.... But then again, had it stayed @ Donny.... the price would have more than likely gone up with the new alterations for the Snormula 1...... Guest
ah well I must be weird cos I love Silverstone! It's 225 miles from my door to the car park at Silverstone but 10 visits in the last 11 years have made it my F1 race home Prices will rise I guess but then you could argue you're getting more for your money at Silverstone than Donny facility wise and maybe viewing wise, not to mention the nice road access
rennie
I've never been to silverstone but the toilet facilities etc can't possibly be any worse than donnington!I also hope it won't take 4 hours to get off the car park there
Jive
I'm quite happy with the switch to Silverstone, far better facilities, no crap road system & only an hour away for me Roll on 2010
Hoody
Used to be at Silverstone anyway Bit flat, but with the grandstands especially around the complex/pit entry makes for good viewing. Both are good circuits, but a change is as good as a rest so to speak!Anyway - better Silverstone than Brands Hatch - end of the country! Guest
Bit flat, but with the grandstands especially around the complex/pit entry makes for good viewing. So true! The Luffield grandstands are brilliant for watching the racing. I was sat at Luffield A this year for the rainy F1 GP and had the time of my life watching the race Watched it on tv when I got home and was surprised/shocked even to see the camera's hadn't caught the action there at all

Luffield is excellent seen F1 and numerous other racing at Silverstone and found that is the best spot. The action (especially F1 down the field) there is superb in rain or shine - Love it! Revvin Kevin
better Silverstone than Brands Hatch - end of the country! Although Brands Hatch is a long way to travel for me, I think it would make a great, entertaining venue for MOTOGP.
DutchMick
Hate Silverstone, lacks character and they WILL put the prices up, bad move On the plus side it gives us an excuse for a trip to a foreign MOTOGP round May I suggest Assen or Mugello imo the best circuits in the world
