Hi all

Got a few problems with me nsr 125 2001

Noticed the oil pipe has come off the carb. does this go on the nipple on the side of carb barrell, and is the nipple on the bottom of the float chamber just for draing the carb.

Also i got 2 loose pipes coming of the sides of the barell on the carb do these go anywhere or just breathers

Also found another loose breather pipe that ends up next to the side stand would this have gone to the nipple on the bottom of the carb.

Next is the RC servo ( i think) does anything connect to the bottom of this and if so where does it go

Also on full lock the handle bars hit the tank is the supposed to happen or can you adjust them out more.

Sorry so many questions just bought me first bike and trying to get it on the road

Nipple on the bottom of the carb should be attached to the pipe running down to the centre stand. It's for draining the float bowl or if the float bowl overflows it'll come out there. Carb should also have a breather pipe, which usually runs down to the bottom of the bike aswell.

I dare say the oil pipe goes on the nipple on the side of the barrel, as that's ultimately where the oil needs to go, in too the fuel stream, but i couldn't be sure.

Google's bought me no joy, except this diagram, not sure it helps though.

wish they did a haynes manual i looked at the parts diagram but doesn't tell you where things go or what their for. all i can find is a workshop manual for the previous model.

New to bikes so just want to make sure before i break it

Lock to lock the bars should not come into contact with any of the bike, as this is an MOT fail, you need to adjust the bars accordingly.. also makes riding a tad difficult as you keep bashing your hands.. the tighter the bars are in the more chance of a speedwobble/Tankslapper..,

If adjusting them doesn't work.....

check underneath the frame where the Yolk (thing that holds the forks in) there should be a lockstop on each side.. this stops the yolk turning to far.. if these are bust, then you need to get them sorted, but hopefully its just a setup issue..
