Guest
When I started the bike after work today I turned on the ignition and pressed the starter button... nothing... did it again and the bike started. Didn't think anything of it and then I stopped for a break on the way home... same thing again.Any suggestions guys? The engine or starter don't turn when I press the button... but press it again (maybe twice, maybe three times) and it starts ok.Damp somewhere? Could it be something to do with the starter motor or relay?Any advice appreciated

Guest
I reckon it was damp you know... sprayed wd40 wherever I could and tried again this morning (left the heater on in the garage) and we're good to go.My journey home last night was quite wet ! Stu
prob the starter switch might be worth taking it apart for a clean just on the safe side then you know its done and if it happens again it wont be that also stick some electrical grease in there not wd40 as wd40 dries out and chases grease off

I also need to take apart the pass switch and give it a clean 'cos its a little sticky so that'll be a fun day at some point
