Jive
Seems Croft Circuit is in dire straights. Can't believe the nerve of some people, how can they justify their actions? I won't comment further but read the Full story here
PhatDad
Well that will teach the Croft Circuit for moving in that area next to residential houses... or was it them that moved to the area knowing full well there was a race circuit there? Jive
Errrrr it's been there since 1920, if they have lived in the same house for 89 years then I would have thought they were used to the noise?
PhatDad
Exactly. Why move next to a race circuit and then complain about the noise? Why didn't the judge tell them to move if they don't like the noise?
Guest
Well now the precedent has been set, perhaps someone will complain about Heathrow and have it upheld by the Justice System.
Evs7
I can't believe someone hasn't organised a mass ride by....Every week. there is nothing that can be done about it as we all pay road tax.I really find that story distressing, people keep sueing people and outlawing all the fun stuff. eventually we will all wake up and watch 12 hours of X-Factor because everything else will be banned.IF ANYTHING NEEDS TO BE BANNED it's REALITY TV.... come on people it's BORING. Guest philgale
read this on another forum.....also hottrax have pulled out of hosting track days there.....fecking to55ers.....why move next to a race track and expect it to be quiet
nigelwood1
Typically one or a couple of people make a complaint and its stopped....200 plus disagree and complain to a planning office about a proposed building developement and they ignore them...Where is the justice and where is the consistency....I agree with the previous comments and I think it should be buyer beware...They chose to live next to a race circuit SO LIVE WITH IT!!!!! Guest
mind you reading through it is not the large meetings such as bsb they have issues with it is the track days ......possible reflection on the use of modified cans and pipes ?and as with race day the noise remaims a constant until it becomes secondary whilst on track days the noise is more broken up and is always present ...have had this issue within rc racing .. we lost one of the best tracks to it Tibshelf and other tracks are suffering to th e extent we are having to place intake noise reducers on cars in a bid to reduce the noise and the risk of complant .......
