FZ6 Brake discs - Change?

Hi

I am servicing my bike at the mo and noticed that my brake discs have a very slight ridge around the outer edge.

I checked the thickness of the discs with a micrometer and found them to be 4.5mm thick. The Haynes manual states that new discs are 5mm and should be replaced at 4.5mm.

The bike stops perfectly fine, do I really need to change them as I could do without shelling out £200 on a new set (probably and the rest!).

They aren't scored or anything.
