MonkeyKnuckle
Hey all,Anyone interested in going to the Ace on either Saturday the 21st or Sunday the 22nd of this month? (Weather permitting of course, as long as it's dry) I'm thinking using only A roads to get there, as the M25 is boooooring. So...anyone? Anyone at all?? MonkeyKnuckle
So would people prefer the Sunday?(Maybe I should have put this in General Ride outs & meets to get a bit more interest.....)
Paul
Wel, I am a bit stuffed for this one now. I am starting a training course at work for two weeks from next week (mon 16th) Only just found out about this yesterday. This means I will be working Mon-Fri instead of Mon-Thursday. This now means I will have to potpone my trip up to Liverpool and that means I have to do stuff down here on the Sat and Sunday instead. So, in a nutshell I can't go. MonkeyKnuckle
No worries. There'll be plenty more opportunities to go there.
Paul
Yea I hope so. There are plenty of us down here to get out and about when the weather turns nicer and the Ace is top of the list for me.

MonkeyKnuckle
No worries Anand. Don't blame you Willow, I wouldn't go if the 'kids were away' either.
ade38
Have you decided on a route to take yet??
MonkeyKnuckle
Not yet but it's either A3->M25 or stay on the A3 and ride through London.I've driven around that area quite a lot when I go and see Jin and Skittles and it's a pain in the arse at the best of times. Tons of traffic and really bad drivers. So it might be less stressful to just go up the M25 even though it is boring. It also depends on whether or not they decide to stick some variable speed limits up on the M25. So in answer to your question, I have no idea. ade38
i remember coming back through london last year, got lost then caught in traffic! Well if you go up the A3 i could meet you guildford way and crack on from there but i got no idea how to get there, i always forget.

Not sure if I'll be going straight to the Ace though, might go to Jin's first. (She's in France at the moment but might come along)Jin knows the way like the back of her hand, I also have a Garmin Zumo sat nav thingy just in case. As for meeting point around Guildford, I don't have a clue where a decent place would be. Any ideas?
ade38
cool thats no probs, well best place to meet would be on A3 past guildford before the m25 there is a bp garage either side of the road, up there i think is probably best??
