tank protector, what happens when you removed it?

if its just stuck on get a hair dryer on it for a bit then just pull it off, the heat will melt the glue


if there is some residue left nail varnish remover works well

Sounds a bit iffy,, would have thought anything that melts & removes nail varnish,, might do the same some paints

i used it on mine and it was fine, didnt use loads mind only a little

Again, Hair dryer to soften the adhesive, or a warm sunny day, but youll be waiting.....

and either a wax polish or tar/bug remover to remove the left over adhesive, with lots of elbow grease, whichever method you use, remember to wax the tank after as you will remove any wax on there with spirit or nail polish remover..

just take it slow and don't rush things..
