Hoody
If you want proper moulded ones, don't buy cheap/DIY oneshttp://www.ultimateear.com/motorcycle.htm
Korben
i don't think i could sleep with ear plugs in!want me to get you some disposable ones from work? It's weird when you first do it... I had to stay in a hotel last year and needed to be up early... Floor below was a pub on a Saturday night doing Kareoki (Spelling)... After putting them in the only thing I could hear was my own heart beat... Once you get used to that you fall asleep quick.
Korben
If you want proper moulded ones, don't buy cheap/DIY oneshttp://www.ultimateear.com/motorcycle.htm They look good!!One thing to remember Vicki is that proper moulded earplugs will need replacing about every 2 years. Your ears change constantly.
Guest
Well i dont wanna pay a lot, cos its only for 2 nights in Assen... and no chance of seperate rooms in a 3 bedroom tent... with 4 snoring men and a snoring girl!!No riding for me this year... apart for a couple of pillion rides... so just not worth buying owt good... maybe a bit of blue tac or putty will do...Or the drink lots and pass out idea may be best..Rennie... what are they like... i can only wear the shaped foam ones... x

Better than a soft blue one any day.The moulded plugs come in pairs, so if you lose one you're buggered - the Ultimate Ears are around £60 per pair for the first set and about £45 for replacement sets.Soft and squishy gets my vote after wasting so much dosh on fancy crap. pumilio
One thing to remember Vicki is that proper moulded earplugs will need replacing about every 2 years. Your ears change constantly. Maybe try just sticking a pair of dice in your ears - they might eventually conform and make a tight fit (kind of like the African cultures that stick wooden pucks in their lips).Seriously though, if you aren't looking for something on your bike you might consider noise-cancelling inside-the-ear earphones - I use a pair of Sony NC22s when I travel and they work great. They cost around £60 so aren't exactly cheap, but are also function as nice earphone for music.Another, cheaper option is to try sleeping with a fan on in your room - I can't easily fall asleep without a fan on high speed, even in the winter (I grew up in Florida where a bedroom fan is obligatory...) !
