Recommended Posts

Good morning guys and Girls.

The TMBF sponsored, Backmarker racing machine will be out at Mallory Park again on April 12th for the 2nd round of the EMRA championships.

Theres been a few changes since March, the main one being the change of bike.

After the great 3rd place result in the 1000cc Novice race, I decided it was time to move onto bigger and better things.

I set about getting a new bike..

Backmarker Racing, will now be competing on a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 K1

The bike is an Ex British Superstock bike and boasts a whopping 170 RWHP.

Full spec includes

Full Blueprinted engine by Dave hagon (Ex Crescent suzuki)

Race issue, Big bore, Full Yoshimura exhaust system with Tri Oval End can

STM Uprated Race Slipper Clutch

Penske Rear Shock

Ohlins front internals

Brembo Master Cylinder

GSX-R 750 4 pot conversion

Scott Steering Damper

BMR Modified Subframe

And some other bits and bobs..

With this machinery, were looking at a top 10 finish in the open 1300 class, a top 15 finish in the Buildbase class and a 1st in the nocive race.

TMBF are kindly sponsoring fuel for this round and the next round so i'll be plugging the name as much as i can!!

if you'd like to come and say hello to the Backmarker team, we dont bite, and we'd be more than happy to make your aquaintence.
